The Austin Bar Foundation is purchasing a 4,500 sq. ft. historic property at 712 W. 16th Street in the historic Judges Hill neighborhood. Since its founding in 1893, the Austin Bar Association has never had a permanent home. Finally, with a one-time investment, we will have a home for the Austin Bar—a home for the legal community —our home.
Thanks to the generosity of the Lola Wright Foundation, the new Austin Bar headquarters will be named the William B. Hilgers House on Judges Hill, or simply: Hilgers House.
